We are hiring for a Learning Management System Administrator to join our growing team!
The Learning Management Systems Administrator ensures that the learning management system (LMS) is functioning properly and provides support to associates, leaders across the organization, and members of the people team. This role is responsible for content management, delivery, on-going schedule of content, troubleshooting and completion reporting. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our training programs and ensuring compliance with company standards
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
Oversees the daily operation, use, and configuration of the Learning Management System (LMS), which includes, troubleshooting assistance for users regarding accessing courses, reviewing and monitoring system performance, and resolving issues relating to system functionality and third party vendors/systems.
Manages and creates training assignments to deliver training content to associates and teams based on their roles, learning needs, and department requirements.
Collaborates with instructional designers or content owners to gather the overall course structure and sets up course programs and assignments based on specifications.
Maintains a training content library and ensure it is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with company objectives.
Supports departments in generating reporting to track training progress and completion, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation of learning management reporting.
Troubleshoots and resolves any issues related to content access and assignment within the LMS.
Creates learning paths to streamline the learning experience for associates through curriculums or onboarding profiles (time-based training assignments).
Facilitates learning management system knowledge sessions for various levels of field management.
Maintains documentation and educational materials for learners, manager, and administrators on the learning management system such as how to navigate, view training, assign training, and track progress.
Plans and manages the company annual compliance program by obtaining updated content, assignment criteria, and reporting cadences.
Ensure the Optometric Technician and other certification program requirements are met for all applicable associates.
Analyzes support requests and recommends support opportunities to the Facilitation and Divisional Training Partner.
Builds online assessments and evaluations in LMS for courses.
Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
Work Experience
2 years of technical experience as system administrator in an organization where 5,000 associates use the system. (Required)
2 years of experience with loading & assigning training files into a learning management system. (Required)
Education
Four year college degree or equivalent experience. In related field. (Required)
Additional Skills
Proficiency in data reporting and analysis. (Required)
Basic understanding of instructional design principles is a plus. (Preferred)
