ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice – HVAC/Gas Fitter here at Honeywell, you will assist in providing technical support through on-site installation, service and repair of complex equipment and systems. You will work under direct supervision. You will follow outlined work instruction and communicate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blueprints, or work order instructions to your supervisor. You will identify and initiate opportunities to improve installation or repair procedures. You will identify any administrative deficiencies relating to delivery and installation of appropriate equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with HVAC Installation, Repair and Maintenance support as per work order

Identify and Escalate issues

Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and provide repair on all HVAC equipment and pneumatic Installations

Adheres to and supports Honeywell HBS policies and procedures including all safety requirements

Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations

Maintain Required Documentation in a professional manner

Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision

Company vehicle will be provided

Shift: 7:00a-4:00p ET

Must be available for on-call rotation

This position is 100% onsite

Reports to: Sr Field Service Supervisor

YOU MUST HAVE

Must be a current member or be willing to become a member of local Union

1 years of HVAC experience

UA725 (Apprentice) 1st or 2nd year

ODP Refrigeration License

Valid driver’s license

High School Diploma

WE VALUE

HVAC Diploma a strong asset

Refrigeration Apprentice Status

Previous commercial industry experience

Previous technical/installation experience

Previous customer service experience

Good written and oral communication

Ability to follow instruction

Proficient Computer skills (MS Office)
