This Position is for a General Manager with a work location in Moss Point, MS.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The General Manager is responsible for directing, administering, managing, and coordinating Logistics and Lifecycle Support operations for the facility. This role involves oversight of key functions across various departments to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in the Logistics and Lifecycle Support field.
Ten (10) years of management experience is preferred.
Minimum Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree in business or engineering is preferred.
Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Windows.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to sell production products effectively.
Familiarity with HR, Engineering, Sales, Maintenance, Production, and Logistics processes.
Comprehensive understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Conflict management skills within employee groups and with customers.
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance operations.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate and support all basic facility crafts, such as provisioning, configuration analysis, technical writing/editing, supply support, estimating, I.T., HR, and warehousing.
Support and coordinate projects within the company to ensure timely execution and delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with customers before, during, and after sales, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Communicate with customers on existing projects and potential future business opportunities.
Build and maintain a stable, well-trained workforce capable of delivering quality products on time and within budget.
Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Follow all company policies related to employee safety, environmental responsibility, and quality standards.
Create, communicate, and review budgets with managers and supervisors to ensure financial targets are met for projects and overhead costs.
Regularly review facility performance with relevant personnel to ensure operational goals are achieved.
Ensure the facility is well-maintained to promote a safe working environment and to protect assets and materials.
Foster positive employee morale through effective communication and group meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Work overtime as required to meet business needs.
Report to work daily and punctually, adhering to company attendance standards.
