Hours: Monday — Friday, 20-25 hours per week
Wage: $22.43-$28.63 an hour

Seeking a permanent part-time Fiscal Clerk III in the Department of Human Resources. The Fiscal Clerk serves under the Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities will include:
– Assisting with administrative tasks
– Maintaining employee records and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR functions.

Qualifications and duties for this position include the following:
– High School Diploma (or equivalent) supplemented by some college courses with an emphasis in Human Resource Management.
– Preferred qualifications include previous experience in local government administration and/or human resources. A combination of training, education or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities of this position may be acceptable.
– Assist with annual employee health fair.
– Maintain and update employee records and databases.
– Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings and interview scheduling.
– Process employee documentation (e.g., new hires, terminations, benefits enrollment)
– Answer general HR inquiries and provide support to employees.
– Help with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
– Assist in organizing employee training and orientation sessions.
