About the Role
DESCRIPTION: CYCLE COUNTER (1st shift)
REPORTING TO: MATERIALS MANAGER
LOCATION: PLYMOUTH, MICHIGAN
Your Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Print out cycle count lists from Excel / T4M
Physically Counting Inventory
Data entry into Excel /T4M
Print out adjustments recommendations list and return to the Materials Analysts
Assist with root cause problem resolution
Audit inventory locations to ensure maintenance of 5S standards
Audit trailers
Assist with Blackhawk training and communication within Assembly
Document and chart all audit findings with Materials Analysts
Work with Material Analysts to correct inventory in Trans4m and Blackhawk
Perform any other reasonable request by management.
Physical Demands – Normal amount of walking, sitting and standing; Ability to move around an office environment and on the production floor. Ability to work at a computer workstation; Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach. Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature. Ability to lift max. 50lbs periodically.
This position will require a certain amount of training in-house. The person who accepts the position will be expected to follow a learning curve with continuous development.
