Customer Service Representative – CES
Job Overview:
The primary function of the Corrigan Environmental Solutions CSR is to communicate with the customers, take orders and bill out invoices. When taking orders, you will need to be educated across our wide range of products. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the CSR Department Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
Service customers via emails, over the phone, or face to face.
Take orders from customers .
Handle Customer billing and cash deposits
Track vehicles weighing in and out
Communicate with yard/loader operators regarding Customer orders
Assist Customers at the front counter, answer calls, take/schedule delivery orders
Run Daily Weight Report for all tickets finalized for the day
Assist in separating mail
Possibly prepare deposits on weekends
Able to answer main switchboard, assisting the receptionist if needed
Process driver tickets and invoicing
Listen to the customer queries patiently and solve it
Respond to the problems of the customer promptly
Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
Must be articulate and a confident communicator
Extremely efficient and accurate with data entry, Proficient in MS applications
Must demonstrate patience when communicating with customers
Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures
Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures
Versatile and willing to adapt to a situation with a customer
Coordinate with the internal department and/or supervisor to find solutions and resolve matters
Maintain a follow up on the customer, to ensure they are satisfied with our company
Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies
Able to handle loud background noise, high stress situations and frequent interruptions
Strong interpersonal, organizational and reasoning skills
Demonstrate professionalism; be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times.
Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work
Ability to stand/sit for several hours in a row
Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Perform any duties as may be assigned
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
Qualifications / Experience / Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
Able to pass 7-year criminal background check.
