Role Mission The Kone Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring
smooth and efficient coordinator of all aspects related to customer
service, quotes, work orders, purchasing, repairs, and scheduling with
the shop. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for
all Kone related projects, including for Kone representatives,
shop/warehouse personnel, and suppliers & vendors. The Kone Account
Specialist will ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner,
while maintaining high standards of quality, specifications, and
customer satisfaction. Key Job Responsibilities Act as the primary point
of contact for Kone. Daily/Weekly communications to understand needs and
provide updates on projects status. Participate in bi-weekly production
meetings. Generate quotes and orders, including job costing for all Kone
jobs. Procure all necessary parts for Kone jobs and create work orders
for any outsourced machine work. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
to ensure timely procurement of materials. Manage all Kone inventory
(including cycle counting and annual inventory) and ensure allocated to
proper job, location and storage environment. Schedule jobs based on
customer needs, shop availability and parts supply. Create services
summaries, documenting all services activities, and ensuring all
appropriate documents and records are updated as necessary. Ensure that
all work meets Kones specifications, quality, standards and contract
details. Manage vendors, including selection, quality, pricing. Provide
back up to the Repair Coordinator as needed. Support Shop Manager as
necessary. Competencies Associates degree in business, skilled trade,
or related field. Proven experience in a customer service or coordinator
role, ideally within a shop, service or industrial environment.
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in
documentation and reporting. Ability to problem solve and make decisions
in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of parts procurement and supply
chain coordinator helpful. Proficient in MS Office. Experience with
scheduling or inventory management software a bonus. Keys to Success
