Sheeter Operator

Machine Operator – 6 PM – 6 AM; $18.00 – $28.00/hour

4 days ON and 4 days Off!

We are hiring a number of Machine Operators to work for a growing manufacturer in Appleton, WI. The primary duties will be to run the machinery and provide basic adjustments to the product as needed to ensure a quality product. Sets up and operates the machinery, ensure deadlines and customer specifications are met. If you have machine operating experience within a paper or converting manufacturing environment (preferred – not necessary).

6 PM – 6 AM – 4 Days ON and 4 Days OFF (NO Rotating Shifts!)

Training is Provided

Full time hours with 4 days off per week

Clean and safe work environment

What will you be doing/Primary Duties

Performs machine set ups to ensure quality and efficiency of material and products

Perform the required data checks and make appropriate machine adjustments

Work with the assistants and understand their job functions: packaging, labeling, opening rolls, splicing, and tending

Ensure quality of product according to specifications

What do you bring/Requirements:

Positive, can-do attitude

Good work history and ability & willingess to learn

Must have 2 plus years of machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.

Must be comfortable with utilizing basic computers, data entry and be able to utilize the ERP System and any other programs/systems

Must be able to read, understand and interpret internal and external job tickets.

Strong machine operating trouble shooting skills and knowledge.

Must be able to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd.
