DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Paper Machine Operator About the Role As a
Paper Machine Operator you will start your career learning the support
skills of the Winding/Slitting/Finishing end of a large Paper Machine
process as part of a team of four or five operators. You will fill in
for 4th hand positions and 3rd hand positions during vacations,
absences, etc. and will assist with other mill support tasks. What You
Will Do Work within Essity safety standards to support the efficient
operation of the rewinder/slitting end of the Tissue manufacturing
process. Watch the process and if necessary perform routine
maintenance, housekeeping, and resupply of materials necessary for roll
prep and shipping. Deliver finished rolls of paper to awaiting
trailers, load trailers, and enter necessary roll weight data into
integrated materials management system. Support Essity Continuous
Improvement Systems. Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if
required. Order and prepare raw materials / or products for
palletising and install them on the machine according to Standard
Operating Procedures Maintain an adequate communication with previous
and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the
machine Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation Support others
in operating activities Secure the quality level of the products by
regular checking against the product specification rejecting or blocking
if necessary Complete all required documentation and data files

purpose. $29.94/hour starting based wage Competitive benefits package,
1.5x Rate pay for any hours over 8 in a day and on Saturdays, and 2x pay
for Sunday. 7-day, 8 hour rotating southern swing shift and varying
day-off combinations between rotations as part of normal coverage.
Comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision, sickness
and accident, long-term disability and 401k. Most benefits begin day 1.
Company 401k contribution of 9.5% if enroll up to full company match.

AND QUALIFICATIONS: Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent
