As an Associate Government Account Executive, you will target regional and local city government entities in smaller markets across the US. You will recommend wireless solutions by suggesting service plans, data, and other improved services, and effectively mediate discussions to close business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with internal partners within Government and throughout the enterprise to build a successful network of internal advocates to support continuity and growth within the Public Sector.
- Prospect and sell T-Mobile wireless services to new government customers, including cities, libraries, police departments, and other organizations such as non-profits that can use T-Mobiles Government Contracts.
- Develop community relations in areas where T-Mobile has never had a government presence.
- Document sales activities using our CRM platform to prioritize territory.
- Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
- Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.
- Requires regular travel, office location (home-based or corporate site) within territory, and meeting with clients and prospects.
- A valid license and satisfactory driving record (with proof of insurance) required.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5 years direct sales experience, selling a technical product or service preferred.
- Experience in the Cellular Industry is a strong plus.
- Government Sales experience is a strong plus.
- Experienced in prospecting, setting appointments, and growing market share.
- Proven experience in handling large and sophisticated accounts and working directly with clients at the senior management level.
- Experience Project Management of Complex Sales Opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Responsible for developing profitable new account relationships and growing profitability from existing accounts.
- Responsible for selling products and services to highly sensitive and significant accounts. Exercises a high degree of judgment and decision-making authority that can have a significant impact on the business unit.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid license and satisfactory driving record (with proof of insurance) required.

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $92,400 – $166,700, inclusive of target incentives
Base Pay Range: $55,440 – $100,020
