The NGA Gateway team is looking for talented Systems Administrators to provide Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support to Linux OS for multiple servers across the Enterprise. As a Systems Administrator, you may:

Support the security hardening of applications and services deployed on all assigned systems

Monitor systems and services for availability and supports troubleshooting to return to operational state

Work closely with other System Administrators, Software and Systems Engineers to maintain the backbone for many mission essential systems

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor s degree and two years of work experience or equivalent

RedHat Enterprise Linux or similar Linux OS knowledge

At a minimum, must possess a Security certification

Ability to work independently or with a team (as needed)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Understanding of Apache, JBoss, Docker and PostgreSQL

Understanding of Geospatial Data

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 – $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
