Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Airmans Club. Responsibilities Serves the club by maintaining a high visibility presence to deter illegal and/or inappropriate actions. Patrols, protects and inspects buildings and property. Maintains secure control of supplies and equipment. Assists in checking patrons for proper identification and securing arm bands on eligible patrons before admitting them into the building. Patrols club complex, circulating among patrons to maintain order and to prevent damage to furnishings, facility or club property. Warns patrons guilty of any infractions. Maintains order, enforces Dram Shop Theory, tactfully removing patrons who are disorderly. Contacts security police when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to complete a National Agency Check and Food Handlers Certificate. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. A probationary period may be required. Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
