Job Title: Accounting Assistant III

Job Description

Accounting Assistants have assigned vendor accounts and are responsible for maintaining the A/P relationship with the vendor. Candidates need to be familiar with all of the AP processes and the software packages that support them.

Areas of responsibility:

– EDI invoice troublebox maintenance

– Credit memo review and research

– Shortage and/or pricing claims creation

– Vendor statement acquisition and final reconciliation

– Response to vendor calls/e-mails

– Proof of delivery acquisition and research

– Maintain 48 hour turnaround on active invoice problems.

The successful candidate will have 1 year of AP experience, excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to continually prioritize changing responsibilities. BA/BS preferred but not required.
