Must be able to work any of our 4 shifts. They are 12-hour rotating shifts.
The main purpose and function of the Mill Utility Operator is to become qualified in all production positions and safely perform those tasks.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Safely follow and perform the duties listed of the Packer Operator job description.
Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Lab Technician job description.
Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Bulk Product and Packaging Specialist job description.
Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Loader Operator job description.
Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Padman job description.
Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Mill Operator job description.
Cover all of the job positions above as needed.
Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Specification Q1, 9th Edition requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

Requirements:
Experience:
No experience required – will train on the job.
Knowledge and Skills:
Forklift handling skills.
Operation of both simple and computerized packaging equipment.
Laboratory Procedures.
Record keeping.
Understanding of car loading equipment and plant production flows.
Maintain accurate account of production and material used.
Frontend loader and bobcat operation.
General mechanical knowledge of loader, crusher and conveyance equipment.
Operation of all milling and drying equipment.
Communication skills, including peer to peer and employee to supervisor communication and interpersonal skills.

Rotating shift work.
Frequently work alone.
Subject to dust, noise and temperature variations.
Frequently work around machinery and mobile equipment.
Must meet deadlines.
Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-12 hours per day.
Frequently lifts up to 50# and occasionally up to 100#.
Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
