This role involves managing various aspects of item setup and change processes, primarily driven by Business Change Notices (BCNs) in Oracle. Responsibilities include initiating item setup, using Product Information Management (PIM) templates, and creating/updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) based on Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). The role also entails reviewing part setup discrepancies, handling Supply Distribution Centers (SDCs), and tracking part changes in Excel. Effective communication with Purchasing Program Managers (PPMs) and Finance is crucial. Also control and drive all aspects of service production in the plant.
This position is 100% onsite.

How Youll Create Possibilities
Review Business Change Notices (BCNs) for new part or part changes to be setup in Oracle
Setup items for parts not on a BCN.
Initiate item setup and assignment to the correct Organization.
Utilize Product Information Management (PIM) templates for part setup and changes.
Add inventory category set for production reported parts and finished goods.
Add and/or change how materials are transferred from one process to another process for parts.
Create new Bill of Materials (BOMs) and make changes as required.
Update BOM per BCN for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and mass changes.
Setup new models from BCNs includes cross reference to other models to make sure everything is tied.
Setup effectiveness dates tied to ECOs and model revisions.
Review loop report for parts that are not setup properly and address discrepancies as required.
Setup Supply Distribution Centers (SDCs) for service and bank build items.
Setup inter-org transfers for processing by outside suppliers.
Attend Change Implementation Boards (CIBs) to review projects and changes to the plant.
Track part changes and maintain them in an Excel spreadsheet.
Inform Purchasing Program Mangers (PPMs) of needed Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPAs) and Approved Supplier Lists (ASLs).
Provide part changes information to Finance.
Provide highlight sheets for transitions.
Update pick screens as required.
Act as card control during Physical Inventory (PI).
Manage and cover all aspects of service planning.
Develop production plan and communicate needs to service team.
Create IRN’s for all service loads.
Participate in service meetings (as needed)
What Youll Bring to Our Team
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferably in Supply Chain management, Engineering or related field with minimum 2 years material experience as a material control leader, or equivalent experience and education.
Must possess sound judgment, planning and analytical skills to relate to management, production and supply base contacts.
Working knowledge of MRP systems, specifically Oracle.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years materials control experience.
Proven attention to detailed project management skills and record of accomplishments showing business impact.
