Egan is seeking Technicians, specializing in the Service and Maintenance of Building Automation Systems, for opportunities around the Greater Twin Cities area. This is a union position with top-rate wages, healthcare, retirement, and vacation benefits. We are looking for independent, customer-service-oriented individuals who will consistently adhere to safety standards. Responsibilities: The basic responsibilities of the Building Automation Service Technician include but are not limited to the following: Service and repair of building automation system equipment and peripheral devices. Programming experience with BAS software and hardware including such products as: ABB/American Automatrix, Tridium Niagra, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, etc. Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installation. Train and instruct new users on BAS equipment and its use and operation. Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and IT systems. Work with dispatch coordinators to get service requests accomplished in a timely manner. Completion of daily communications to the office and customer.
