Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Education Requirement: ASN Required.
Preferred Education: BSN Preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS-AHA.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours
- ACLS-AHA
- NIHSS
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Two years of RN experience in the ICU and demonstrated level of performance and practice is required.
- Must have ICU experience at the bedside within the past six months.
- Willingness to be flexible for different hours.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Schedule Notes: 13 week assignment 7P-7a 3 X12 hr shifts every other weekend 2 winter holidays no on call will float if ICU census is low
