Associate Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview
Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports. Analyze business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. Conduct routine work assignments of limited scope and complexity and under close supervision. Entry level professional with developing skill set and a basic understanding of procedures and analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
Follow standard procedures to create and/or update basic reports and dashboards
Identify trends or patterns and help prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions
Contribute to reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems
Partner with leaders and senior staff to define specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
Support and participate in team projects and initiatives
Utilize and adhere to data governance documents and procedures; alert supervisor if an inconsistency or inaccuracy is discovered during the course of reporting or analysis
Qualifications
College/university degree or 1-2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
Familiarity with business intelligence applications and/or cloud services
Familiarity with reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors
Familiarity with querying and/or programming for data analysis
Basic understanding of visualization & reporting components
Knowledge of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
Research skills
Interpersonal skills
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM
