General Function:
As the Manager, Retail ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), you will work alongside a team of Retail & Technology professionals responsible for planning, establishing, and deploying Hy-Vees future ERP landscape. Your primary focus is to create and bring to life the future application landscape covering third party and custom developed applications across a diverse set of business functional areas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the creation of the future operating model for the holistic ERP solution, including defining the ERP and legacy application landscape integration and interoperability through implementation phases
Works with the System Integrator and Internal teams to:
Ensures program deliverables are consistent with retail and SAP leading technology practices
Develops the Implementation Roadmap and align internal and external resource staffing plans
Solves key ERP issues to improve functionality, efficiency and outcomes at the Retail level
Assists in providing innovative leadership to business partners by leveraging new technologies and new ways to utilize technology to generate value in operational excellence, real-time business intelligence, and improved communication to customers
Provides guidance and leadership on sun setting of legacy systems including data archiving considerations
Drives, manage and coordinate activities throughout assigned programs to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed timeframe.
Assists with overseeing assigned program needs by studying, analyzing, and evaluating industry leading practices and lessons learned for program execution.
Recommend and implement approved modifications to process, resources, systems, or other applicable functions for future success of strategic programs
Defines and executes resource training and development for support of SAP and ancillary third-party applications enabling production cutover
Establishes culture of inclusion, critical thinking, and communication with architects, technical leads, and engineers to design interim or replacement solutions for legacy applications impacted by the ERP initiative
Assists the team that successfully designs innovative, user-focused, solutions involving a mixture of third party and custom applications
Provides retail knowledge in developing the data strategy for the ERP initiative while working in parallel with the Enterprise Data Team to execute the strategy.
Ensures collaboration and communication of data strategy and data model
Assists with technical system validation of proposed business process changes during the Design phase.
Coordinates and validating that system integrations will function efficiently, accurately, and without service interruptions in the future operating model
Responsible for viability of ERP application landscape to meet strategic growth needs by maintaining knowledge of state-of-the-art applications, application integration, delivery methodologies, micro-services application architecture designs, as well as emerging technologies
Facilitates alignment with other leaders across functional area project workstreams (Supply Chain, IT, Finance, etc.)
Provides thoughtful leadership to establish and enable architecture, scalability, best practices, technology portfolio, lifecycle management, as well as development standards and methodologies
Ensures application solutions are consistently of high quality, performant, without service interruption
Assists with leadership level communication and resolution for technical solutions and designs which may impact realization of benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders to mitigate potential risks to the deliverables
Demonstrates a clear, concise, effective communication style appropriate for technical and non-technical audiences
Creates win-win partnerships
Handles difficult situations effectively; resolve conflicts that arise
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1 to 3 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
Business acumen in the retail business sector, grocery preferred
Demonstrated experience a plus:
Current development methodologies and design patterns
Delivering applications in a cloud platform
Implementing ERP solutions
Delivering digital solutions (mobile and web)
Experience influencing management on technical or business solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions: The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
