Corteva has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our company in Johnston, IA.

What Youll Do:

Provide general administrative support such as facilitate corporate communications, coordinate travel, organize/plan meetings, daily transactional entry, various consumables purchasing, contract administration, process invoices for accounts payable etc.

Lead development, production and deployment of signage needs and annual seed guides for the AgVenture Independent Seed Companies network and ensure adherence to legal requirements and standards.

Compose and/or prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, documents and reports. Proofread for content and typographical errors and ensure correct spelling, punctuation and grammar as needed.

Assist in maintaining and updating e-store; collaborate with the Corteva MarCom (marketing communications) team as needed on promotional items and materials.

Support the hiring/onboarding of employees.

Coordinate and schedule customer tours, field days, training sessions, and/or customer events.

Travel and provide onsite support at designated events throughout the year. Travel is required 5-10% of the year.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

You have a high school diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:

You have 2 years of administrative, office management, event planning/coordination or other related education/experience.

You value serving the business and our customers, so you are willing and able to work overtime as needed during peak seasons.

You respect yourself and others and have a strong ethical mindset, therefore you are able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Your attention to detail and your organizational skills are outstanding!

You have good verbal, interpersonal, and writing skills.

You have a valid US drivers license.

You are experienced and confident in your ability to effectively use Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, etc.

You are willing and able to travel, 5%-10% of the time when necessary.

You see problems as challenges and enjoy the opportunity to solve them and make improvements.

You are flexible, able to multi-task responsibilities with competing priorities, work well under pressure and plan ahead to meet deadlines.

You have a positive attitude, enjoy working independently and being part of a diverse team environment.

This position utilizes a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work in the office at least 3 days a week and can work remotely 2 days a week if desired.

What Makes You Stand Out:

An associate degree.

Experience with Concur Travel or other expense reporting system.

Experience with SAP.
