Fairview Health Services
Overview
Are you looking to make an impact on the physical, emotional and cultural needs of pediatric patients and their families? Join our team as an RN on the Pediatric BMT & Heme/Onc unit at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital!
Located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, we deliver a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. Our patient population includes BMT, Heme/Oncology, and GI services.
Our compassionate, innovative approach has repeatedly received national recognition. In 2022 we were nationally ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Children’s Hospitals” list. It is our 15th year in a row on this premier national list, a recognition of the dedication and expertise of our extraordinary teams! We are proud to be the oldest academic children’s hospital in Minnesota and the longest-running top-ranked children’s hospital in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program (BMT) at University of Minnesota Masonic Childrens Hospital is among the best in the world. We were the first institution to successfully complete a bone marrow transplant– back in 1968. And since then, we have continued to lead the world in providing excellent, compassionate BMT care to children and adolescents.
University of Minnesota Health’s renowned BMT Program brings together the most respected research and clinical leaders in blood and marrow transplantation. We’re the site of innovative treatments, research studies and clinical trials with our trailblazing researchers investigating new frontiers in stem cell therapy and immunotherapy.
