We are excited to announce CCPRS won the next 5 – year contract for Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contract V (PA TAC V) in the West zones (e.g., Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, Arizona, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Hawaii, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri). Through CCPRS, SOL Engineering Services, LLC is looking for you to provide technical support assistant for FEMA disaster related operations throughout the U.S. FEMA uses the PA TAC nationally to obtain the following labor categories: Environment/General Planners, Engineers (all disciplines), Construction Managers/Inspectors/Estimators, Project Managers, Financial Analysts, as well as other related professional services to assist state, local, municipalities and public entities in developing grant applications for Federal Public Assistance Funding for the repair of their infrastructure and facilities damage by natural disasters.
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Business Services industry. As a Mid-Level Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure that project goals are met and that all deliverables are of the highest quality. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring that all project milestones are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have 5 years of experience in a related field (with an undergraduate degree) or 10 years of
experience in a related field.
Should have thorough knowledge of PA eligibility, law, regulations, and policies.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and rapidly identify and recommend solutions to issues, concerns, or problems that may arise during product
development.
Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing in order to coordinate with others and formulate letters in response to correspondence and inquiries from internal/external stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word
Must have the ability to navigate the internet for research purposes.
Must be competent in smart phone usage.
Should be proficient with Grants Manage.
Bachelors degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field
5 – 10 years of experience.
Experience managing projects in the Business Services industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification
Experience with Agile project management methodologies
Experience managing remote teams
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards
Tasks:
Implement compliance with applicable federal environmental laws, including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and Executive Orders 11988, 11990, and 12898; and others as they pertain to FEMAs disaster programs. This includes scoping environmental/historic issues, reviewing grant applications for compliance, providing technical assistance to those involved with grant implementation, and ensuring compliance is sufficiently documented.
In addition, the specialists will work on other projects or activities related to FEMAs Environmental/Historic Preservation Section.
General activities include:
Ensuring that all recovery activities receive the appropriate level of environmental review as required by NEPA, NHPA, and associated statues, regulations, and Executive Orders.
Providing expert technical assistance; performing a full range of activities for environmental/historic preservation compliance and project management, performing data gathering, analysis, and inter-agency coordination.
Preparing (or assists in the preparation of environmental and historic preservation compliance documents from simple to particularly complex and politically sensitive projects including resource evaluations, consultation letters, memorandums of agreement, categorical exclusions, and environmental assessments.
Identifies, plans, coordinates, monitors, and completes project EHP compliance reviews of FEMA-funded (in part or whole) projects under the National.
