Work location: 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142
Work hours: Full time, 36 hours a week. Three 12 hour shifts. 1:00pm – 1:00am with Rotating weekends
Department highlights:
Number two ED in the THR system for Patient Experience
Received a commendation award for excellent maternal/neonatal care
Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments
Here’s What You Need
Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or
Associates Degree Nursing is required Or
Bachelors Degree Nursing is preferred
2 years of ER experience is strongly preferred
1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required And
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And
NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or
ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required
