Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to lead and improve the plants maintenance operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of the buildings and property, as well as performing advanced troubleshooting on key systems such as electrical, plumbing, roofing, compressed air, lighting, and HVAC.
Key Respons ibilities:
· Develop and Implement Maintenance Processes: Develop, oversee, and improve processes for plant maintenance, cleaning, basic repairs, and pest control for buildings and property.
· Advanced Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, roofing, compressed air systems, lighting, and HVAC systems.
· Repair and Maintenance Coordination: Inspect and evaluate repairs needed to the property or equipment and determine the type of work required. Identify and communicate the need for repairs with management or external consultants.
· Supply Chain Management: Requisition supplies and equipment for maintenance, repair, and cleaning duties.
· Facilities Maintenance: Ensure property is kept clean and orderly. Understand and follow proper waste and water disposal procedures.
· Safety and Compliance: Use chemical cleaners, tools, and power equipment safely to prevent damage to property or equipment. Collaborate with team members to resolve work-related issues and complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or facilities setting preferred.
· Technical Skills: Advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, roofing, and HVAC systems. Knowledge of basic shop math.
· Communication Skills: Ability to interpret written and oral instructions. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
· Additional Requirements: Forklift certification preferred but not required. Strong understanding of safety procedures, particularly regarding the use of tools, chemical cleaners, and power equipment.
