Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 – $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Work with minimal supervision.
You should also be one who enjoys the outdoors (after all…its a shipyard!), fresh air, beautiful skies, occasional starry nights, and a little bit of rain! Basically a beautiful environment for those who enjoy this amazing Bay Area climate!
Minimum 4 years marine and/or industrial electrical experience.
Skilled in 480 and 208 VAC 3 phase systems.
Skilled in the use of test equipment (Megger, VOM, Amp-meters, etc.).
Qualifications:
Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of motors and motor controls.
Experience in operational testing of electrical equipment.
Comprehension of schematic diagrams, technical manuals, and the ability to create hand-drawn diagrams of disconnected and/or removed electrical equipment.
