Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Accurately and safely distribute material internal and external to the facility in an efficient and expeditious manner. Must be proficient at 80% of Material Handler I skills, demonstrating a clear ability to grasp 5S philosophy and work within multiple disciplines. Ability to follow written and verbal direction and communicate effectively with team members both orally and in writing. Essential functions and overtime required may vary based on the specific task assigned to the position. Valid Drivers License and the use of power tools are not required for all Material Handlers. Cross-training and fluid transition between departments are essential for competitive advantage. Material Handler I must be proficient with all level 1 tasks within 90 days of hire. Many tasks require on-the-job training. Material Handler II works under Material Handler III guidance as required in each function. Hard Skills

Proficient in Material Handler I responsibilities

Basic understanding of Excel files

Maintain and store files

Create and print barcode labels

Maintain data in KPI

Fill out complex forms in ERP system

Research inventory discrepancies

Problem-solving skills for lost inventory

Reorganize inventory storage

Use carrier-related software and prepare BOL

Operate hand trucks and scales

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in FREMONT, California.

Shift Times

8-5PM OT
