Posting Summary
Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Professional and Executive Education (PEER) unit within the Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC). PEER is a self-supporting entity, funded entirely by the revenue generated through educational program delivery to individuals and organizations.
The Senior Program Coordinator provides support for revenue-generating activities through promotion of corporate training programs, developing long-term corporate partnerships (profit and non- profit), and managing program product lines in the PEER portfolio. In collaboration with all staff members of the unit, the Senior Program Coordinator shares responsibility for identifying organizational sales opportunities (i.e., corporate, non-profit, and government) and meeting customer-driven performance metrics for those programs/products for which they are assigned, including customer satisfaction, instructional integrity, return on investment, and leverage of growth opportunities.
The Senior Program Coordinator has operational responsibility for those programs and products for which they are assigned. These operational activities include, but are not limited to staffing, planning, executing, managing the program performance, and generating follow-on sales opportunities. The Senior Program Coordinator is required to perform the functions described above while in compliance with RSBC and Rutgers University rules, regulations, policies, and goals.
Under the direction of the Director, as appropriate, the Senior Program Coordinator:
seeks revenue opportunities that meet or exceed the budgeted units annual revenue goals.
assists in the planning, implementing, and measuring program delivery of open enrollment offerings, typically at the individual learner level, and for assigned custom organizational training programs.
supports the delivery of unit services within the units budget, which is developed annually by the Director and approved by the Dean.

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or cancellation and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System. Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
A bachelors degree in business, leadership, organizational development, adult learning, human resources, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and or experience, plus a minimum of two years of progressively responsible management, sales, business, or relevant higher education experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in business, leadership, organizational development, adult learning, human resources, or related field with 5 years of progressively responsible management, sales, business, or relevant higher education experience.
  • History of business development, consultative selling, partnership development, client relationship development, and leading strategic growth initiatives related to organizational and professional executive education.
  • Aptitude for and proven experience in prospecting and securing new clients via developing integrated marketing campaigns, cold calling, advertising, networking, and other means.
  • Experience in setting and achieving targets for sales and for leveraging existing client relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate ideas to senior-level and executive audiences in public and private forums.
  • Strong business, financial, strategic, and organizational development acumen.
  • Strong understanding of executive/adult education best practices and current trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and activities and manage multiple and competing priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude to consistently use software and tracking sales tools for prospecting, managing the sales pipeline, developing meaningful metrics, and creating appropriate sales and customer management dashboards to manage the business.
  • Experience in supporting the development of program/curriculum and instructional design to meet organizational objectives and desired learning outcomes.
  • Experience in virtual-based instructional design and delivery.
Equipment Utilized
This candidate uses Microsoft Suite of Tools daily. The candidate will also work with specialty software related to PEER, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM; currently ACT).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The position will require travel and a significant amount of time offsite promoting Rutgers School of Business-Camden to secure new customers.
