Job Title: LPN Nurse
Job Description
• Prescribe medication dosages, routes, and frequencies based on patient characteristics such as age and gender at the order of Physician.
• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines at the order of Physician.
• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized by physician.
• Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies as directed by Physician.
• Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks as directed by Physician.
• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients individual circumstances.
Hard Skills
NYS LPN License
Min 2 years LPN experience within outpatient medicine
Infection control and BLS
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Work Environment
Working in a Medical Office environment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
