The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. Role Purpose
Responsible for execution of procurement strategies to manage sourcing of quality products, equipment and services. Responsible for assured supply of materials, minimizing inventories, optimum material utilization, and supplier performance while continuously identifying and implementing opportunities to lower total cost of ownership and mitigate risk (e.g. on-time, best price, high quality).
Key Responsibilities
Drives GSM Business strategy development. Deploys GSM strategies and plans to make decisions necessary to purchase product or services, aligned with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies
Champions and ensures compliance with the Global Buying Policy (GBP) along with utilization of standard Global Supply Management (GSM) source-to-pay (S2P) processes and tools
Promotes and proliferates appropriate utilization of buying channels and procurement tools (p-cards; e-catalogs, requisitions, and purchase orders, etc.)
Supervises/manages personnel as assigned (e.g. procurement coordinators, buyers, interns, etc.)
Key player for negotiations with suppliers (including contract administration)
Prepares and solicits competitive bids/quotations/proposals, scope of work, etc. with pertinent specifications, terms, and conditions
Creates and maintains contractual documents (Supply Agreements, Pricing Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Certificates of Insurance (COI), etc.)
Assures Contribution Savings Metrics are updated and linked with the site/business cost reduction portfolio
Manage suppliers, consultants, etc. and interfaces with appropriate departments to ensure delivery of quality materials, components, equipment, and services while ensuring assurance of supply and best cost position scenarios
Minimal travel required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field with MBA Preferred
Demonstrated decision making, influencing, negotiation, and conflict management/problem solving skills and ability to drive results through others (inside the function and outside the function)
Contracting (negotiation, writing, and management)
Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
Global Business knowledge and cross-cultural agility
Commodity/Supply Chain expertise
Desired Skills
Price/Cost or Should Cost analysis
Experience across multiple businesses, division and/or technologies
Experience with global manufacturing and business through work or project experience
Institute for Supply Management (ISM) or APICs certifications
CPSM, C.P.M., A.P.P., CPIM, CSCP, etc.
Green Belt Certification and/or Project management experience

The range for this position is $79,249.00 – $108,968.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
