Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Global Process Lead – Production Planning and Scheduling.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 – $176110.04 a year.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work set up if candidates lives within 50 miles of an Eaton location. Position is eligible for a remote work setup in the U.S. if not in the geographical area of an Eaton site.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview:

As part of Eaton’s supply chain digital transformation, we are seeking a highly motivated expert contributor to join our Planning & Execution CoE team as Global Process Lead for Production Planning and Scheduling – to help drive the deployment of best-in class production planning and scheduling solutions across the Enterprise.

Eaton is deploying an advanced end-to-end concurrent planning solution that will be used across our businesses to plan and deliver materials, inventory and factory / supplier capacity across the end-to-end supply chain in order to meet customer expectations and achieve profitable sales growth. The Production Planning and Scheduling Process Lead will guide process definition and deployment to ensure there is tight linkage between the long-term and mid-term planning cycle and the creation of an executable, time-based detailed schedule specific to each individual plant.

This role will lead the design of the Eaton standard ways of working for Production Planning and Scheduling covering process steps, information flows, roles and responsibilities, utilization of technology (Kinaxis, ERP systems and other selected tools) and the organizational setup required to make the process a success. The Process Lead will work with SCM, Operations and IT teams across businesses, as well as with other Process Leads on the Kinaxis CoE to define and harmonize long-term planning decisions with short-term scheduling to optimize production processes and achieve cost-effective outcomes.

In this function you will:

• Serves as a “Planning & Execution CoE” resource collaborating with Kinaxis CoE Process Leads and Eaton businesses to fully understand and prioritize requirements.

• Partners Eaton IT and with business stakeholders to understand solution pain points, troubleshoot complex planning issues, and propose long term solutions.

• Supports the selection and design of Production Planning and Scheduling tools across Eaton, based on functional integration into the end to end planning process, business requirements while maximizing solution standardization across enterprise

• Acts as gatekeeper on the central governance board for key functionalities, helps formalize requirements and manages improvement pipeline over-time

• Develops playbooks and best practice documentation for the processes in scope

• Coordinates with other Product Owners and sits on Global Design Board acting as gatekeeper to ensure standardization of key design decisions in the end-to-end planning process.

• Helps prioritize requests, confirm requirements, make recommendations, and develop/enhance processes using best practice solutions.

• Expect 10-25% travel (both domestic and international) as determined by the business needs.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelors from an accredited institution.

• 7 years minimum in Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP.)

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or related field preferred.

• Experience in Project Management, preferably with Agile Methodology or Scrum Framework.

• Working understanding of MRP, APS and MES areas.

Skills:

Technical knowledge:

• Deep functional understanding of Production Planning & Scheduling processes in an industrial manufacturing environment (production scheduling, capacity analysis, resolution of production issues, determination of material, equipment and labor requirements, important metrics for production).
