Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Quality Inspector to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include inspecting and testing products according to provided instructions, engineering drawings, and training. The Quality Inspector will also need to correctly use the required tools, fixtures, rulers, and testing equipment involved in the testing and inspection processes. Additional duties may include performing a specific step of the assembly process as part of a team, standing or sitting on the assembly line to complete repetitive tasks daily, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Dexterity is important in this role as it involves using hands to grasp, handle objects, and reach. The role may also involve operating machinery or using hand tools and/or fixtures as part of the assembly process.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.
Work Environment
The Quality Inspector will work in a temperature-controlled, clean room facility. Work shifts are from Monday to Wednesday, 7 am to 7 pm for D1, and Thursday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm for D2. The facility has lockers for personal items but candidates will need to bring their own padlock. A large break room is available for daily lunch. Teams are organized into cells, each consisting of around 20 people performing different jobs, with rotation of positions to provide variety in tasks. Dress code includes closed-toed shoes, shorts or jeans, and a long-sleeve or t-shirt, with a lab jacket/smock to be worn over the top. Hair nets and beard nets are required at work stations. Long fake nails are not allowed. The main languages spoken within the team include English, Spanish, Nepali, Vietnamese (for D1), Swahili, and French (for D1).
