Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Job Description

As a member of the Growth Sales Team, the Technical Sales Specialist identifies opportunities at both new and existing customers. You will effectively and convincingly present the value proposition and product offering to management, purchasing, and engineering personnel. You will develop a customer strategy, aggressively implement the strategy, and ultimately turn customer visits into sales opportunities. Additionally, you will extract Voice of Customer feedback and share these inputs internally. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing, collaborative, and technically competent individual.

Hard Skills

Develop and execute quarterly visit plans

Produce strategic plans for target customers

Develop and grow relationships at target customers

Create Pre- and Post-Sales visit reports

Pro-actively work with the internal execution team

Acquire and analyze Voice of Customer information

Identify at-risk customers and execute retention plans

Acquire competitive intelligence through sales calls

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

There will be 70% travel with this role, mostly flying rather than driving. You will receive a list of current, former, and target companies. The sales team consists of five members, which will grow to six once this position is filled.
