Responsibilities
Environmental Services Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our healthcare facilities. By disinfecting and cleaning patient, exam, procedure, operating rooms, and public spaces, Environmental Service Technicians ensure that patients, staff, and visitors have access to clean, safe environments and promote positive patient outcomes. The use of proper chemicals, floor scrubbing machines, and replenishing supplies is critical to maintaining the cleanliness of healthcare facilities. Environmental Service Technicians must be trained to use these tools safely and properly to prevent damage to surfaces and ensure that no harm comes to patients, staff, or visitors. Cleans and maintains assigned items and areas to facilitate smooth daily operations. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be 18 years old. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/patient needs.
Additional Qualifications:
High School Degree or G.E.D preferred. Customer Service experience preferred. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.

Compensation Detail
$18.11 – $24.48 / hour. Evening shift differential of $1.30 / hr. would also be applicable for all weekday evening shifts and $3.05 / hr for weekend evening shifts.
