Job Title: BuyerJob Description
• Procure materials, supplies, equipment, and services in assigned categories. • Develop positive supplier relationships to support the mission. • Perform Request for Quotation (RFQ) and should-cost exercises to negotiate best-in-class Quality, Delivery, and Cost. • Ensure a ready supply is available for assigned categories and manage inventory effectively. • Evaluate Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) outputs to determine efficient purchasing and optimize total cost of ownership. • Maintain accurate purchasing records and planning parameters in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, Planning, and Operations to meet requirements by successfully leveraging extended supply chains. • Drive supplier development based on key performance indicators (KPI’s). • Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Hard Skills
Manufacturing purchasing experience in an MRP system
MRO experience
High proficiency in computer systems using standard business software: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MRP/ERP systems

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm / 7am – 3pm; 3 months with potential for extension
