Job Title: Laborer/Laminated Parts Operator
Job Description
In this position, candidates will be manufacturing belts and baskets for the Food Service Industry for several different machines. Candidates will be fully trained to assemble and manufacture both belts and baskets and must be able to work in an assembly-type environment. The products made in this department primarily go into the fast food industry (e.g., McDonalds, Subway). An example of some of the trays or baskets are what Subway would put sandwiches on when they toast them. It is a unique material that has layers and is heat-resistant. Candidates will work with their hands to cut, seal, and put together small parts. The difference between this role and the assembler position is that they will be working in a separate area, closer to the machines laminating the material together. They will be placing the trays and baskets in the machine and pulling out the finished product. This area will be hot in the summer, but they often rotate with the assemblers.
Hard Skills
Ability to fabricate other parts needed to produce various amounts of belts
Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision
Experienced in hand sealer, four-corner fixture, measuring devices
Ability to measure accurately

This is a contract position with a duration of 600 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lake In The Hills, Illinois.
Work Environment
Laid back team that gets along very well. Will cross-train in different areas of what they call their Cooking department. Will have the opportunity to learn, train, and move into higher-level roles. They have 4 separate buildings, all near each other.
