Operations Manager I

Job Description
The Operations Manager I will typically supervise entry-level employees and is responsible for leveraging process and procedures to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality deliverables. They also handle the allocation of budget, administering adequacy of resources to support business operations for clients satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
Ensures compliance with appropriate infection prevention, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
Ensure safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and clients regulations.
Responsible for ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition and arranging for repairs as needed.
Assists with the implementation of Aramark programs and controls. Performs food and sanitization log audits.
Demonstrates a proactive approach with regard to client concerns and expectations
Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development and delivery of all nutrition & food services program.
Plans, standardizes, and coordinates the development of housekeeping practices.
Coordinate?s catering, special project work, and other activities that effect the daily operation of the Food Services and Housekeeping departments
Oversees schedules and payroll functions for all staff.

Qualifications
Strong financial controls, food/equipment, procurement, production and service systems and business ethics.
1 year of experience in a management role
ServSafe? certified, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment?
Microsoft office applications, EMR, and tray card system use
1 year of food service management in healthcare or senior living preferred.?
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and time
Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramarks standard service model
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
