Warehouse Associate

Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC. is looking for a responsible, self-motivated and hard-working individual to add to our ever-growing team. All applicants must be capable of lifting over 50 pounds.

Position: Warehouse Associate

Job Status: Monday-Friday (daytime hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

– Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
– Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; and staging orders in delivery area.
– Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles, by hand or using powered equipment.
– Load and unload trailers.
– Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
– Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
– Receives orders and pick products from the warehouse.
– Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods.
– Provides quality service by following organization standards and safety procedures.
– Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
– Completes reports by entering required information.
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
– Adheres to company safety standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:

– Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
– Must have an aptitude to make rational judgments based on conditions and facts on hand in a fast-paced situation.
– Ability to complete assignments with minimal direction.
– Good interpersonal and communication skills.
– Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move more than 70 lbs.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Must have a valid PA Drivers License.

Education and Experience:

– High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
– Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is required.
– Experience operating a forklift is required, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment required.

Physical Requirements:

– Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
– Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds at a time.
