JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Description:

Install all required elements to finalize production powder coat process.

Installation includes:

Wall bump-out to allow installation of DI Water Spray Rinse, Facility finishing of the room with painted walls, installing drop ceiling, individual venting ducts in the room to prevent powder coat spills from entering the rest of the HVAC system.

To establish production requirements:

Cleaning (Pretreatment of Bulk bond 741 @ 3%, pH =4.8, 130 F, 90 seconds)

Final wash/rinse with DI wash through DI water tanks in AXE Rinse booth RB-50 with heater.

Utilization of existing Powder Coating Module with multiple filters.

Disposal of both waste and DI water is through Safety-Kleen).

A larger oven (ID 3’x 3’ x3’, ambient 5 F to 500 F, 9KW of heat, direct drive motors totally enclosed fan cooled, set point temperature controller, double door, high limit for safety).

Masking table, drying/cooling rods, material storage, etc.

Professional Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of experience with powder coat techniques.

Experience with ISO 9000.

Must be able to communicate technical data with colleagues.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 40#.

Must pass an eye exam.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend or stretch in keeping with the demands of a typical tradesman role.

Must be able to manipulate small delicate parts as well as larger, heavier stock and components.

Anticipated Growth:

Learn IS&S products, Company and department procedures within three (3) months.

Acquire direct knowledge of IS&S Quality System within three (3) months.

This individual must take steps to remain aware of equipment-related and process-related technologies that may enhance IS&S products and processes.

Performance will be measured by timely and successful completion of tasks as well as effective input regarding machining processes.
