We are looking for a highly motivated Account Director to develop and implement long-term sales strategies and plans to grow the Siemens EDA portfolio within one of our top accounts. In this role, you will serve as the end-to-end owner of a strategic account, simultaneously managing relationships with customers to understand their strategic objectives, business initiatives, and global requirements and leading technical sales teams worldwide to find and deliver on opportunities to expand business in ways that support the customer’s needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading senior leadership relationships for one or more strategic accounts; overseeing customer relationships with the technical sales team.
Partnering with the Technical Account Manager and customer leadership to identify key customer projects, strategic objectives, and global requirements.
Collaborating closely with customers and technical sales teams to find opportunities to strategically expand existing business.
Building and leading the execution of long-term growth plans across multiple technologies and develop sales strategies based on a deep understanding of the account.
Negotiating customer agreements and leads high-risk, sophisticated transactions with minimal support.
Accurately projecting and building a multi-year funnel and develops long-term strategies (3 years) to position for growth in upcoming contract cycles.
Establishing vision and strategic plans with measurable goals and objectives to guide the cross-functional team supporting assigned account(s); regularly reviewing team results and collaborating with the technical team to ensure sales and technical plans are aligned.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
Proven background in establishing a broad and deep understanding of customers and business.
Proficiency in business software applications such as Tableau, SFDC, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with proven communication and social skills.
Collaborative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
You will be expected to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments and may supervise the activities of others, mentoring other AEs as needed.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The total cash compensation range for this position is $215,500 to $431,000 with 40% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
