LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MATERIALS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NMRTC ANNAPOLIS MD. Responsibilities You will verify equipment procurement, life-cycle maintenance and disposal procedures are being followed. You will participate in and conduct equipment procurement, installation planning, preinstall site surveys, major system integrations, acceptance testing and customer support. You will coordinate, review, analyze, update, correct, and normalize data contained in computerized logistics programs. You will serve as advisor and coordinator to the Equipment Program Review Committee (EPRC). You will serve as the subject matter expert for all equipment related programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) automated data system. Experience utilizing management information systems, office automation systems and processes, computer applications, principles and techniques. Experience utilizing a wide range of medical equipment, safety concepts, principles and practices. Experience utilizing medical equipment program management policies, concepts, practices and principles to analyze and develop recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives.
