GENERAL SUMMARY:
Department:Regional Float (System Staffing Office)
Schedule:PRN, Minimum 36hrs a month, Afternoons and Night shifts available (May work 8 or 12 hours shifts)
Hospital:Multiple. See below.
Must travel to three of the hospitals in the system:
Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit
Henry Ford Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center in Madison Heights
Henry Ford Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center in Warren
Henry Ford River District Hospital in East China
Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Novi Campus in Novi
Henry Ford Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus in Southfield
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. No additional preferences.
At least 2 years of recent hospital experience.
CERTICATION/LICENSES REQUIRED:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
