Position Summary
The Project Support Specialist in the Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine Research & Development team provides support to the Anesthesia R&D team to plan and execute technical documentation and project activities. Responsible for the creation and compliance of project management and design control documentation in the various Teleflex Project & Portfolio Management, Product (PLM) and ERP systems. Assist in the planning and execution of projects under the direction of the project or technical lead.
Principal Responsibilities
• Coordinate/lead preparation and modification, submission, and workflow approval of QMS, DHF, and DMR documentation package(s).
• Request, collect and organize project and technical information from various Teleflex funtional teams, such as operations, finance, marketing, quality, engineering, regulatory.
• Access and/or modify information directly from various Teleflex systems such as Planview, Agile PLM, SAP and other database systems.
• Review and/or proof-read product info, labels, or DHF documents to standardize format, proof-read for errors and clarity. Coordinate any modifications accordingly using appropriate engineering database systems for final review and approvals.
• Assist the project lead with preparation, analysis and formatting/presentation of data required for cross-functional review. Data sets may include project dashboards, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scorecards, project gating, product bills of material, product labeling, vendor information, cost information, technical data, quality data, sales volumes, etc.
• Create and/or update project charters and project information in coordination with the the assigned project leader.
• Provide various project-level support for the R&D department projects, such as Business Gating materials, project software and dashboard updates, project documentation, technical reviews, meeting minutes and data analysis.
• Adhere to and ensure the compliace of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics and all company policies and procedures.
• As required, travel for process improvement or product idea brainstorming events, core team meetings. Coordinate/lead meeting sessions or group exercises. Support the planning and coordination of meeting logistics, both prior to the event and on-site as required.
• Document, organize and present meeting event results and action items. Assist in coordination of follow-up reviews of the results with the various cross functional teams.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Associates or bachelors degree required; Technical or engineering-related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience using Solid Works & PDM
• 2 years of experience managing ECO/CO changes to Mechanical Drawings using CAD software
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• 5 years of system analyst, data systems, project management or technical project experience preferred
• Experience with data systems required
• Experience within a healthcare products, medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred
• Advanced profieciency in MS Office Tools and other soeftware programs
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Clear verbal and written communication, ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of audiences
