TMA/RA

Riley Crossing is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered/TMA to support our residents in our Senior Living facility located in Chanhassen, MN. This role is responsible for providing resident care and services including administration of medication under the direction of the nurse.

This part-time patient support position includes;

32 hours per a two week pay period

Evening med-passing shift; 4:00pm – 9:00pm

Every other weekend and Holiday rotation

Riley Crossing is one of our newest senior living communities located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. Opened in 2019, it hosts 134 units of Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced and Memory Care in total. Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, nail care, dressing , showers and answers and responds to call lights)

Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise manner

Performs environmental and other responsibilities as assigned

Maintain order and cleanliness in residents rooms and other work areas

Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed

Administers medications and treatments as delegated and supervised by a licensed nurse

Follows all shift routines regarding measuring of vital signs, weights, and administration of medications and treatments

Dispenses meds using the right route, medication, resident time, and dose

Maintains an awareness of actual and potential side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications and purposes of medications

Alerts nurse prior to administration of a PRN medication

Maintains a clean medication cart

Performs other duties as requested

Required:

Nursing Assistant Course

Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry

Completion of required training and meet the state requirements for medication adminstration with a TMA Certificate from the State of MN

Preferred:

High School Diploma/GED

0-1 years of experience

Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population

Ability to communicate effectively with empathy and compassion for others

Experience working in a patient support role (HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant)

Work experience in a customer service setting
