What are we looking for?
AnthroMed Education is actively seeking 3 energetic and dedicated School Social Workers to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year at one of our partner schools in Gurnee, IL. These Social Workers will support a caseload of Elementary students and will work alongside a team of other Social Workers within the district. Responsibilities:
Provide direct social work services to Elementary students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Collaborate with other social workers, teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students overall well-being.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students strengths and challenges and develop individualized plans accordingly.
Collaborate with the school community to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and educational trends.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
Illinois PEL with an endorsement in Social Work.
Previous experience with Elementary students is preferred, but not required.
