The Associate Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments, or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.
This position is part of the Distribution Center located in Hebron, KY and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Distribution Center and report to the Supervisor responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments, or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Receives and stores product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ships orders. Inspect materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates and product part number.
Creates and/or ensures appropriate documentation is completed for orders. Reconciles inventory and may perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned.
May involve operation of powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks. Identifies and solves routine problems in work area with management team. Assist management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives.
The essential requirements/functions of the job include:
High School Diploma or GED.
Lifting: Up to 50 lbs, multiple times during an 8-to-10-hour shift.
Push/Pull/Bend/Twist: multiple times, up to 2 to 4 hours continuously during a, 8-to-10-hour shift.
Sitting: 0% of the time.
Standing/Walking: Approximately 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift.
Climbing/Kneeling: 0% of the time.
Hand Movement: Repetitive movement including gripping, grasping, and manipulation. Approximately 2 to 4 hours intermittently during an 8 to 10 hours shift.
(If Applicable) Driving/Operating Equipment: Powered equipment (Forklift, reach truck/cherry picker) is required and must be able to cross train and work in multiple areas of the facility as needed.
Machinery: General conveyor systems and Forklift equipment.
Environment: Exposure to cold (35 – 46 degrees F), for approx. 2.5 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift. Provided PPE includes; insulated/high visibility jacket, gloves, hand warming packs.
Sitewide PPE: Steel Toe Shoes
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Computer experience using Oracle and Microsoft applications and have experience working on high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
The starting pay range is $18.00-$23.05 an hour. Base can increase dependent upon the following:
Differential pay for forklift drivers (reach truck/cherry picker).
Increased pay for working in the refrigerated area.
Dynamic pay increases as you grow into each of our four additional levels of warehouse associates.
