Associate Accountant Zoo Hourly Range: $19.49 to $29.24 Closing Date:
10/25/2024 or earlier upon receipt of the first 50 application
submissions received. Job Summary: Under direct supervision the
Associate Accountant handles an assortment of financial activities to
include the preparation and processing of invoices using the Zoos
Point-of-Sale (POS) system, cash receipts, vendor invoices, and journal
vouchers. This position also assists in the preparation of reports and
other accounting related responsibilities such as reconciliation of
revenue and balance sheet accounts. This position will also assist Zoo
staff with the new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in
processing purchases, receipts, and tracking payments. The Associate
Accountant will also support cash room and other office positions. Work
Schedule: Employee must have flexibility to work days and some weekends
as required. Job Duties: Use the Zoos Point-of-Sale system, issue
invoices, record revenues, track payments, reconcile A/R activity with
General Ledger, generate past due statements, refer customers for
