Corporate Sr. Accountant

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Sr. Accountant to join the corporate office of a industrial manufacturing client located in the Galleria. This person will be joining a team of 2 other Sr Accountants and will be directly reporting into the Sr Corporate Accounting Manager. This role will be responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost analysis for about 4 to 5 subsidiaries for the parent company and working on consolidations. This role does require this person to have prior experience with managing subsidiaries and consolidations and will be working with multinational entities such as Canada, Mexico and others. This role will offer a hybrid schedule with allowing the team to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the Galleria office. This position will not only be responsible for financial statements but also running financial reports for the subsidiaries they are managing.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting

3 years of experience with accounting for consolidations of subsidiaries into parent companies

Experience managing minimum of 4-5 subsidiaries at a time

Experience with international accounting

Experience with financial statements

Experience with SCC, Quarterly and Monthly reports

Experience performing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost analysis, inventory analysis

Experience managing balance sheet Big 4 experience

JD Edwards experience

Oracle Experience

Bachelors from accredited university

International accounting experience

CPA or plans to obtain CPA

CMA

Masters in Accounting

SAP experience

Oracle Experience

Experience with system integrations null
