Job Description

The day to day for these maintenance positions will be focused on machine installations, setup of highly automated equipment including controls, automation, electrical systems. They will support and provide ongoing preventive, planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipment associated with their assigned areas plant once installations are complete.

• Oversee new equipment installation, set up, modification and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to OEM specifications.
• As needed, work with outside contractors to identify and resolve equipment troubleshooting and investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, bring production back online and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrences.
• Inspect and check equipment for proper operating condition, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, and maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts, maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems including repair, rework to meet and maintain specs and tolerances.

Hard Skills

Experience in Industrial Maintenance with emphasis on electrical controls

Intermediate knowledge of PLC troubleshooting/programming, robotics, and vision controls

Intermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits, Motor Controls (VFD, Servo)

Fundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Together, they invested a total of $11.4 billion dollars to form a Joint Venture company. By utilizing advanced battery technology the company aspires to make the world’s most safe and dependable electric vehicle (EV) batteries for the Ford and Lincoln brands.

Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and Kentucky. The company is making progress on facility construction and has an upcoming wave of installation of highly automated battery cell production and assembly process equipment. The facility is massive, 60 football fields and 1 mile end to end…incredible stuff.

The first plant is on track to open with 3,000 employees in 2025, with an estimated 300 Maintenance Personnel, supporting the plant and its eventual 24/7 battery manufacturing operations. This opportunity is available because of the new plant start up hiring campaign to support the equipment that is currently arriving at the facility.
