Warehouse Certifier – 3rd Shift

Overview
This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by certifying pallet inventory in a fast-paced warehouse operation.

Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCos beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States, Canada and Mexico. PBC makes, sells and delivers approximately 75 percent of PepsiCos North American beverage volume. 3rd Shift: M-F
 7:30 pm – 4 am

Responsibilities
– Floor Lead when supervisor is not around.  Lead loading team of 5-15 employees.
– Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery
– Provide coaching and counseling to Pickers on Pallet build practices, safety and quality.
– Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of picker and loaders
– Track each load accurately
– Accurately count all pallets
– Maintain pace of pallet configuration
– Ensure that inline adjustments are made and used for all pallets
– Identify priorities and coordinate resources
– Assess and enhance the skill set of pickers
– Recommend process improvements
– Coordinate picker and loader team
– Ensure stability of all loaded pallets by proper use of load straps
– Embrace and promote a culture of “stack, wrap, strap”
– Count floor and truck inventories
– Inspect and receive incoming loads according to warehouse standards
– Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all loads
– Maintain cleanliness in assigned area (e.g. yard and warehouse)
– Maintain records of daily checklists
– Demonstrate communication, customer service and conflict resolution with peers
– Ensure adherence to audit standards
– Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

Compensation and Benefits:
– The expected compensation range for this position is between $33,300 – $53,150.
– Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
– Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED
– Experience working a flexible schedule including early morning, late night and/or weekends
– This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
