Production Worker – 2nd shift

SUMMARY:
Responsible for producing product in a productive manner, delivering quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visually inspect the product for any non- conforming areas, and set aside any non-conforming products
Ensure adequate quantities of product are supplied to fill orders
Maintain working knowledge of processing equipment operation, processing specifications, and labeling requirements
Ensure clean, sanitary, and safe work practices, tools, and area
Maintain knowledge of USDA and HACCP requirements
Flexibility to do all jobs on the line through rotation
Be willing to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if required
Other duties as assigned/needed
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
Have basic mathematical skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work on production floor; a wet, cold, and loud environment
Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
